A former employee said this in a review: "- As a production assistant, you are truly at the "bottom of the barrel". Fremantlemedia will do anything to not pay overtime. The pay is very low with no guarantee for future work and you will get dissapointed to see how TV shows are made and produced".

"HR prioritizes from the top down, the lower down the food chain you are the less they care about your treatment. Unscripted treats anyone below director/manager level like trash. When employees in any department complain about higher ups poor behavior and unfair treatment they are likely to be fired to protect the higher ups. HR does not protect its staff here they protect the brand. There’s also extreme amounts of privilege and flagrant displays of wealth including a MASSIVE pay/benefits gap between those above or below level."

"Hosting a lot of old TV formats that are coming to the end of their live cycles (x-factor, talent, idols). Missed completely bringing in new formats for years, a complete strategic failure. HQ bureaucrats bringing themselves up more than saving the business and regardless of business itself. Getting "on board" with their latest policies proved too much for integrity and honesty. New Group CFO is lame duck with service attitude, but no ability to stand for anything. International mobility reserved only for those serving in London."

"Here in Brazil the time of shooting is minimum, everyone work by contract no guarantees whatsoever – the least time they can do it, the least the show will cost. Exploitation is the name of the game. If you dare to complain, you are out. Almost all production companies work like this over here."
